Personal data protection notice

Under Article 10 of Turkish Law 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, this notice explains how personal data is processed on this site. Its scope is this version's code and the measurements dated 3 October 2026 (pages, requests, cookies, local storage) and 4 October 2026 (simulator).

Form

There is no contact or assessment form and no field asking for your name, email or company. Product, tonnage and emissions values can be entered in the simulator; how they are processed is explained below. In this version the former form address's code answers every request with 410; that code does not read the request's content or IP address.

Simulator

The simulator's fields are on the home page only: product, import quarter, annual EU exports (tonnes) and emissions value. The values you enter are calculated in your browser. In the 4 October 2026 measurement the page sent no network request after the values were entered, and the values were not written to the address bar, a cookie or browser storage. The email link on the page does not carry these values.

Cookie

This version's code writes one cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. Its value is only the language code (tr or en), it lasts 1 year, and its purpose is to keep the chosen language for the next visit. It is written in two cases: when you click the language switch at the top of the page (written by your browser), and when you arrive at the root address (/) during the language redirect (written by the server response). No other line writing a cookie was found in this version's code.

Browser local storage

The theme preference (theme) and, on the demo screens, the sidebar preference (demo-sidebar) are written to your browser's local storage (localStorage) when you click the relevant button, and are read in your browser when a page opens. These entries are not sent to the server.

Language redirect at the root address

For a request to the root address (/), the server-side redirect looks at: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie if present, the country information the hosting infrastructure adds to the request, and your browser's language header (Accept-Language). With these it redirects you to /tr or /en and writes the language cookie described above. The redirect code does not store the country information or the language header; only the chosen language code is written to the cookie. This code does not run on pages other than the root address.

Hosting and scope of measurement

This notice rests on this version's code and on a measurement dated 3 October 2026: every page of the site's build was visited in a browser, and requests, cookies and browser local storage were recorded. In that measurement the pages loaded resources only from the site's own origin; the code contains no analytics script. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; the hosting provider's processing is outside the scope of this notice's measurement.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction; request that correction and erasure be notified to third parties it was transferred to; object to a result against you arising from analysis by exclusively automated means; and claim compensation if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.
